Kareem Phillips-Bey
MOBERLY, MO -- A Moberly teenager is behind bars for allegedly shooting another teen.
Last week Moberly police responded to a report of shots fired in the 800 block of West Coates.
Authorities learned in the investigation that an 18 year-old male was seeking treatment at University Hospital in Columbia for a gunshot wound.
The Moberly Police Department has identified the alleged shooter as Kareem Philips-Bey, 19, of Moberly.
He's charged with 1st degree assault and armed criminal action.
Phillips-Bey is being held at the Randolph County Justice Center with bond set at $100,000.
