KIRKSVILLE, MO --
The city is considering yet another option for the TCRC building in Kirksville.

The latest idea floating around is the possibility of making the building a one-stop shop for economic development. That means Kirksville Regional Economic Development, Inc, the Kirksville Downtown Improvement Committee, and the tourism office would all be under one roof, along with the Innovation Center, which is also the Small Business and Technology and Development Center.

“Its being discussed seriously and I think it has potential. And I personally think it's a great idea because having all of your economic development entities in a one-stop-shop just creates a lot of synergies that you just can't get any other way,” said Phil Tate, K-REDI Director of Job Creation.

This is just an idea for the TCRC, nothing is set in stone. The city is also talking about ways to keep some of the current services in the TCRC up and running.
