KIRKSVILLE, MO -- A Kirksville teen was seriously injured in a crash Sunday just after 3 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kayelene Fleak, 17, was northbound on Highway 11 six miles southwest of Kirksville when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road. Fleak overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, which overturned and came to rest on it's wheels. She was ejected.

Fleak was transported to Northeast Regional MedicalCenter by Air Evac.
