Missouri man charged with murder in Iowa

LEE COUNTY, IOWA -- An investigation from Missouri to Iowa has led to murder charges.
    
Tyler Hobbs, 25, of St. Francisville, Missouri has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the death of Shawn Wright, 40, of Kahoka on November 6 of last year.
   
The investigation revealed that Wright was murdered from blunt force trauma in rural Lee County, Iowa but the body was moved and discovered near the Mississippi river in rural Clark County, Missouri.
    
Hobbs is in custody at the Missouri Department of Corrections where he is being held on a parole violation. He is awaiting extradition back to Iowa.
