RANDOLPH COUNTY -- Wicked weather ripped through Randolph County on Sunday night.
Winds gusting up to 100 m.p.h. ripped through the town of Cairo around 7 p.m.
Damage from the storm included roof's ripped apart, signs bent, power lines downed, structures damaged, and major flooding.
Straight lined winds destroyed a red barn outside of Cairo.
Also Sunday night, two 18-wheelers were thrown off the road due to straight line winds.
On Monday afternoon, both those trucks were removed from the median on U.S. Highway 63.
One driver was taken to the hospital last night with minor injuries
Sheriff of Randolph County Mark Nichols told KTVO Sunday night that about 800 residences were without power in the county, including the town of Cairo.
The National Weather Service conducted damage surveys on Monday and confirmed there were no tornadoes in the area.
There were no major injuries or deaths from the storm.
