STORM LAKE, IOWA (AP) --
An 11-year-old girl faces charges in a bomb threat at Storm Lake Middle School.
A statement from Storm Lake authorities cited by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier says the girl was arrested Friday on
suspicion of making terroristic threat and harassment. She's being held at a youth detention center in Cherokee.
The statement says the school was evacuated Friday afternoon after several written notes were found at the school. The girl was arrested a few hours later.
There was also a bomb threat at the school on Thursday. Authorities say the two incidents may not be related.
