MACON COUNTY, MO. -- One person was killed in a collision involving a farm tractor Wednesday afternoon in Macon County. Bobby Techau, 24, of Callao Missouri, was killed in the crash.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a farm tractor driven by Benjamin Coleman, 63, also of Callao was southbound on Highway 3 just north of Callao, when the patrol says he turned into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Techau.
Techau was taken to Samaritan Hospital in Macon, then flown to University Hospital in Columbia, where he was pronounced dead.
