BOWLING GREEN, MO. -- UPDATE: January 25 at 3:50 p.m.

We now have more details about the suspect pictured in our photo.

The individual that came into the bank is in his late 30's or early 40's.

He was wearing a brown work coat, blue jeans, tennis shoes and a black stocking cap. He was also wearing large dark rimmed glasses.

There are still no details about what took place inside the bank at the time of the robbery.

UPDATE: January 25 at 3:25 p.m.

Hannibal Courier-Post's Brend Engel has told us that the police are unsure of a getaway vehicle because they don't know how the suspect left the bank.  He may have fled on foot.

It doesn't look like there were any injuries because no ambulance responded to the scene.

Some people have come out but they are still interviewing witnesses in the bank.

Interesting that they break down their statistics by type of institution. You'll notice that from July 1, 2010 to September 30, 2010 there were 1,183 commercial bank robberies across the U.S.

UPDATED: January 25 at 3:15 p.m.

An employee at the People's Tribune newspaper in Bowling Green told KHQA the area around the bank is taped off.

That employee also quoted an e-mail from the Missouri Highway Patrol saying the suspect is a white man, 5'9", weighs 280 lbs., and is wearing large black glasses and a tan jacket.

The suspect reportedly got away on foot.

We also have calls in to the St. Louis branch of the F.B.I.

KHQA has learned of a robbery at the U.S. Bank in Bowling Green, Mo.

The bank is located at 317 W. Main St.

Hannibal Courier-Post's Brend Engel is there and says that schools haven't locked down. There are no injuries reported.

Police are still inside the bank at this time and the Bowling Green Police Chief Don Wickenhouser is on his way to the scene.

We have a few calls out to get further information at this time.

KHQA's Chad Douglas will bring you more details, so check this story later and watch KHQA's News at Five, KHQA's Evening News at 6 p.m. and KHQA's Late News at 10 p.m

You'll remember that the U.S. Bank was also robbed back in 2007.

No suspect was ever arrested in that case. Police say they were looking for a white man between 25 and 30 who's about 5'10" and weighed approximately 130 pounds at the time of that robbery.
