OTTUMWA, IOWA -- City of Ottumwa Public Works Crews will be picking up snow on Church Street Thursday night, weather permitting.

Hours of snow removal are 11 p.m. Thursday to 7 a.m. Friday morning.

Streets in the downtown area have been cleaned as of Thursday, January 20, 2011.

Vehicles must be parked off of Church Street during the overnight hours to facilitate the snow removal.

Once the crew is done cleaning a block, parking may resume on the street.

The public’s cooperation is appreciated and the City regrets any inconvenience caused by the snow removal project.
