Local authorities are looking for a man who also has a military warrant out for his arrest.

James Ash Jr. is wanted for failure to appear and passing bad checks from Macon County.

Ash is also wanted by the U.S. Department of Defense for military desertion.

The United States Army listed him as AWOL on November 19, 2010.

He's described as 5’9” and 175 pounds.

Ash's last known address is La Plata.

There is no bond on his military warrant.
