Lorenzo Lawson arrested for having pipe bomb inside home in LaBelle, Mo.
KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested a Labelle, Mo. man for possession of a pipe bomb.
The Sheriff's office and Missouri Children's Division was called out to the home to investigation a child welfare matter. That's when they learned of a pipe bomb located in the basement of the house. The device was removed safely from the home.
Lorenzo Lawson, 31, was taken into custody for unlawful possession and manufacture of an explosive device. The device is alleged to have been made in the residence by using a combination of gun powder, buck shot and other materials.
Lawson remains in the Lewis County jail under a $20,000 cash only bond.
