Ottumwa man arrested for sex, immigration violations

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- On the afternoon of January 4, 2011 the Ottumwa Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation regarding a sexual relationship between a 19-year-old man and a 13-year-old girl that resulted in a pregnancy.

Investigators arrested and charged 20-year-old, Delfino Ixba of 5726 130th Street, Lovilla Iowa with two counts of Sexual Abuse, Third Degree in violation of Iowa Code Section 709.4 (2)(b).

Ixba is being held in the Wapello County Jail on $10,000 bond. Ixba is also being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
