New Troopers join Missouri State Highway Patrol

MACON, MISSOURI -- Captain James E. Wilt, commanding officer of Troop B, Macon, is pleased to announce the assignment of two new troopers to Troop B.  The new troopers are members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 92nd Recruit Class that graduated from the Patrol Academy on December 17, 2010. The new troopers will fill existing vacancies within Troop B.

Trooper Philip B. Grubaugh has been assigned to Zone 3, which serves the citizens of Chariton and Linn counties.  Tpr. Grubaugh is a native of Cuba, Missouri, where he graduated from Cuba High School.  He holds a bachelor's of science degree in criminal justice from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Tpr. Grubaugh is married to Alisa (Klingenberg) Grubaugh.

Trooper T. Kirk Hendershott has been assigned to Zone 4, which serves the citizens of Putnam and Sullivan counties.  Tpr. Hendershott is a native of Jackson, Missouri, where he graduated from Jackson High School.  He holds a bachelor's of science degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
