KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville is welcoming its first baby of 2011. Isabel Marie was born to Tiffanie Anthes and Ricardo Jasso Jr. at 5:21 p.m on Sunday, January 2. Little Isabel weighed in at 6 pounds 15 ounces and was 21-inches long. The couple said when it came down to the wire they were starting to compete with another couple down the hall for honors of first baby of the new year.
Northeast Regional Medical Center honored little Isabel with a basket filled with baby supplies ranging from bibs and formula to diapers and clothing. The basket itself was donated by Edna Campbell.
