KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Now is the time to make resolutions for next year.

It's no easy task, since only about 8 percent of Americans actually follow through with their resolutions.

KTVO asked some of our viewers what they wanted to change in 2011.

"I think just a better, overal outlook on things, and just kind of be a better person in general. Help out more in the community with my family and friends, get more active in the church, I think," said Kristi Daugherty

"Well, actually we're doing a whole churchwide resolution and reading the New Testament twice through the year and the Old Testament, so this Sunday I'm going to propose to the congregation that we get into the word again and really make it a part of our lives," said Dan Green

"My New Year's Resolution is to pass the 6th grade," said Cody Shrouf, age 12.

For New Year's I would like to take more time to be a couch potato. I would like to sleep more of the time and I would like to clean up the dishes so I don't have such a mountain to do all at one time," said Nicole Reindl

"This year I would like to work more and save money and spend more time riding my horses, working out and getting fitter, because I plan moving out to Colorado in August, so I need to save up some money so I can bring my horses with me," said Sam McKinley

Loeta Broadwell said she would not make any resolutions. "Because I always break them so what's the point in making them?" she said.
