OTTUMWA,IOWA-- 24 hours from now, Heartland residents will be celebrating the New Year. And if you don't have plans yet, you still have time.

The Hotel Ottumwa is hosting a New Years Eve party in the Grand Ballroom. The party will be from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Ottumwa's own Sez Who will be performing. There will also be door prizes and party favors given away to guests, courtesy of Golden Eagle Distributing. The sooner you get tickets, the better. They're $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

If your looking for the local bar scene, Scooters on Main street in Ottumwa is also having a celebration with party favors, and champagne at midnight. Of course you must be 18 or older to enter.

And if you would like to go out with the kids, the Holiday Nights and Lights display will entertain cars from 6:30 until 9 p.m. The cost is $10 per car. Friday is the last night for the lights display.
