OTTUMWA, IOWA -- One organization is bringing joy to kids this Christmas.

The Iowa Kids University program is providing parents with gifts for their children.

Dozens of presents were wrapped at the Davis Street Christian Church on Tuesday and were ready to be delivered.

Iowa Kids University was first known as the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program and has been serving kids for the past seven years.

Executive Director Sue Huff said she appreciates everybody in the community who takes time to help children because they will be the future leaders of our country.

"We've changed our name, but what we do is the same," Huff said. "We've wanted to continue serving the children of Ottumwa, so we organized a new non-profit, Iowa Kids University."

Even though the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program left the city, Iowa Kids University continues to help kids in Ottumwa.
