Car hits culvert, flips over

KIRKSVILLE, MO -- A Heartland woman was seriously injured in a one vehicle crash late Sunday morning.

Sharon Hoffman, 68, of Greentop was traveling on route T three miles north of Kirksville when she lost control on the snow covered road.

According to the Highway Patrol, Hoffman crossed the center line and ran off the roadway.

The vehicle then hit a culvert and overturned.

She was transported to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment.
