Three homes in Kirksville were featured in the 13th annual Holiday Home Tour.
KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Dozens of people took a holiday stroll through three homes in Kirksville on Sunday.
It was all part of the 13th annual Holiday Home Tour which was put on by the Kirksville Rotary Club.
The homes of Patrick and Christina Foglesong; Troy and Kelly Paino; and Joe and Sandra Novinger were the three homes on display for the tour.
Tickets were sold in advance for $7 or people could buy them at the door for $8.
All the proceeds went toward a great cause.
“The money is used for our Coats for Kids program and so we go through counselors here at Kirksville schools and they choose students who are in need and they are able to go shopping at JCPenny’s who is also a partner in this project,” said Terry Combs a member of the Thousand Hills Rotary Club.
Organizers for the event say there was something different to see at each of the homes on the tour.
“Well in general you can expect unique houses in our community that are neatly decorated for the holidays. Each has their own flare. All of the homes are family homes, homes that families live in so they have their own unique flare to each of them. It just a great festive event that gets you ready for the holiday season,” Combs said.
