KEOSAUQUA, IOWA -- The Lions Club of Van Buren County sponsered the 2010 Festival of Trees.

The festival was held at the Roberts Memorial Center in Keosauqua.

Guests were presented with soothing music and Christmas cheer.

Christmas trees, ornaments and gifts were sold to raise money for a worthy cause.

The lions club accepted free will donations, which will benefit the Christmas for Kids program in Van Buren County.

We will give them $6,000," said Rodney Rwinsob of the Keosauqua Lions. "We had $4,500 on the board last night and it gets hectic today because they all want to get their bid in last."

If you would like to donate to Christmas for Kids, call 319-293-7111 or 1-800-868-7822.
