House damaged in fire

MACON, MO -- A fire ripped through a house in Macon Friday afternoon.

The house is located at 908 E. Briggs street.

Firefighters believe that no one lived in the house. The fire damaged the inside of the home, burning holes in several floors of the house. Fire crews were on scene for about 12 hours.

Luckily nobody was injured, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety.
