LEWISTOWN, MO. -- A second man is now facing charges in connection with a weekend crash that killed a Highland High School student.

James Cannon, 45, of LaBelle is charged with supplying liquor to a minor, an unclassified misdemeanor.

Cannon is accused of providing alcohol to Mont Corbin, 18, of LaBelle prior to the Sunday evening crash that claimed the life of Sheyenna Sigler, 18 of Lewistown. She was a senior at Highland High School.

Investigators report Corbin was driving while intoxicated when the fatal wreck happened.

Corbin remains behind bars on $25,000 cash only bond on a charge of second-degree assault.

His first court date is set for next Monday.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office said its investigation into the incident is continuing.
