BONAPARTE, IOWA -- Residents in Bonaparte gave neighbors a taste of Christmas cheer.

The Addie May Fudge Factory celebrated its fourth annual Holiday Tea.

People came from all around the Heartland to take part in the event.

Customers were served tea, deserts and soothing Christmas music.

The shop also had some delicious Butter Pecan, Toffee Chunk, and Maple Nut fudge.

Shop owner Rhea Huddleston encourages Heartland residents to visit Bonaparte because the town has more events coming up as early as next week.

"There will be our Christmas connection and that will be on the other side of the opera house," said Huddleston. "All shops will be open. We are also doing our Taste of Christmas for Main Street on the second Friday and Saturday evenings in December, which will include a progressive dinner and a tour of homes."

If you would like information on upcoming events, contact the Addie May Fudge Factory at 319-592-3139.
