The Salvation Army Thanksgiving dinner

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The Salvation Army opened their doors to the community this Thanksgiving.

Volunteers showed up in Ottumwa for the annual Thanksgiving dinner.

Dinners were given free of charge to people looking for a hot meal.

Turkey, ham, stuffing and potatoes were served, along with deserts.

250 meals were delivered to residents in the community and over 100 meals were severed at headquarters.

The Salvation Army serves the community year-round.
