Wapello County woman headed to federal prison

(OTTUMWA, Iowa) - A Wapello County woman will spend the next four and a half years in a federal prison.

Jennfier Rose Wilson, age 24, was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty to distributing meth.

According to court records, Wilson admitted that between January and March of 2009 she bought between 50 and 500 grams of meth for the purpose of distributing it for profit.

Wilson acknowledged she sold the drugs in southern Iowa.

Wilson will also spend three years on supervised release and agreed to participate in a drug treatment program.
