COLUMBIA, MO. (AP) -- Columbia police say they have arrested a seventh suspect in the shooting death of a cousin of a Missouri football player.
Police say 23-year-old Lee Wyatt Carter was arrested Tuesday in the Oct. 23 robbery and murder of 22-year-old Aaron Hobson. Hobson was killed Oct. 23 in the parking lot of the Break Time Convenience Store in Columbia.
Police say Hobson and a passenger were approached by several black males who demanded the victim's money.
Carter is being held at the Boone County Jail on $1 million bond.
Hobson was the cousin of Trey Hobson, a defensive back with the Missouri Tigers, and he was in Columbia for the game against Oklahoma.
