ST. LOUIS, MO. -- The United States Attorney’s Office announced Monday that David Russell Darr, Jr, pleaded guilty to production of child pornography. According to court documents, in October 2009, Darr photographed himself and a minor child engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Darr, 21, Marceline, Mo., pleaded guilty Monday morning before United States District Judge Carol E. Jackson, who set sentencing for February 8, 2011.
Production of child pornography carries a penalty range of 15 to 30 years in prison and/or fines up to $250,000.
This case was investigated by the Marceline Police Department and the Kirksville Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
