BRASHEAR, MO --

Safety was the topic of the day for some students.

Adair County Sheriff Bob Hardwick and staff paid a visit to the Brashear schools for safety education classes.

Sixth graders learned about stranger danger, what to do in emergencies and other safety tips.

“It's something that folks need to always remember. We live in a different society and we just need to get back to the basics and remind individuals of everyday situations that we could or may face,” said Hardwick.

Education classes are available to community organizations, schools, and businesses.

If you're interested in setting up a session with the sheriff's office, call 660-665-4600.
