Parker wins, Casino loses

(OTTUMWA, Iowa) - A brief summary of some Southeast Iowa races.

All results are unofficial.

In Wapello County, incumbent supervisors Jerry Parker and Greg Kenning won re-election. A referendum in support of casino failed.

Mary Gaskill won re-election to her Senate seat.

Becky Schmitz lost her race to Sandy Greiner in Senate District 45.

Curt Hanson was re-elected to the House seat he won last year in a special election.

Ottumwa doctor Mariannette Miller-Meeks lost a second election to Dave Loebsack in the Iowa Second Congressional District.
