Tractor trailer crash injures two

MACON, MO --

A Macon County crash Saturday morning injured two and closed a major highway.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kenneth Russell, 63, of Clinton was westbound in the passing lane on Highway 36 east of Macon.

Lou Taylor, 79, attempted to turn onto Business 36 and pulled out in front of Russell, who was driving a tractor trailer.

Both drivers suffered injuries and were taken to Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
