The victim, Aaron Hobson, was a cousin of Missouri football player Trey Hobson.

Columbia police say Aaron Hobson was shot Saturday during a robbery attempt at a convenience store.

Police said in a news release that 27-year-old Tony L. Lewis, of Boonville, and 19-year-old Leo D. Roland, of Columbia, were arrested Saturday and have been charged with second-degree murder and first-degree robbery. Twenty-year-old Deshon Joseph Houston, of Columbia, was arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree murder and second-degree burglary. Bond for all three men was set at $1 million each.
