KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Mary Immaculate Parish in Kirksville held their 19th annual Parish Auction on Sunday.  More than 200 people congregated on the NEMO Fairgrounds for an afternoon lunch and to bid on items like guitar lessons for six months, an autumn basket, and an original oil painting.  While the event helps bring in some money it is designed to bring everyone together.

“We always do it as a family event” said Sister Ruth Ann Klauser.  “We bring children, parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends all together so we can have a good time and the benefits go to our school.”

Sister Klauser said all of the items from the auction were donated by local businesses as well as parish families.
