MACON, MISSOURI -- Press Release from MoDOT

On Wednesday, October 20, and Thursday, October 21, the Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge repair on Route 36 in Macon County. The project will begin one mile east of Callao and will continue east for approximately two miles. Traffic will be reduced to one lane and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 miles per hour each day from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and pay close attention while traveling through the work zone. The work is weather dependent and could be delayed or rescheduled.
