KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The Truman State University Career Center kicked off its annual fall Career Expo this week

Wednesday afternoon students met with prospective employers to explore possibilities for life after college.

Companies from all over the area presented to students and oferred job applications and interviews.  Some Truman alumni even came back to talk about their jobs today.

“I used to go a lot when I was a student at Truman.  I was looking at the Des Moines market for a full time job and so I didn't always find a lot of the Des Moines companies here,” said Jessica Muldonado.

Muldanado was a Truman student a few years ago and now she works for the Greater Des Moines Partnership, an organization that helps people and businesses relocate to Iowa’s capital city.

The Expo brought in businesses and organizations of all shapes and sizes.  Anubia Stephens, a student worker for the Career Center, said there’s a good balance between locally owned businesses and big corporations.

“We have all companies, from local businesses like a marriage research company here to big companies like the Target Corporation are here, so any type of company you know, we have it here,” said Stephens.

Students can sign up for on-campus interviews through Thursday.  For those that missed out on the Career Expo this fall don't worry, there will be another one in the spring.
