New armed forces center taking shape

KIRKSVILLE, MO --  

A new armed forces center taking shape in Kirksville.

The iron structure is up for the new U.S. Army Reserve Center on Industrial Road.
    
A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representative says the new location will be a medical training unit.
    
The awarded contract is for around $5,000,000.
    
The reserve center should be complete by April 4 of next year.

The representative says the project is ahead of schedule.
