KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Hospice of Northeast Missouri marked its 15th annual Lights of Life Luminary Service Saturday night in Kirksville.

Participants filled the Veteran's Memorial Roadside Park for the ceremony. The event offers a chance for families and friends to honor loved ones who are currently battling a life-threatening illness or who've passed away from one.

The Lights of Life Luminary Service is a fundraiser for the United Way of Adair County. Organizers tell KTVO they’ve raised about $600 so far.
