Meth bust lands two people in jail

KAHOKA, MO. -- Two northeast Missouri residents were arrested in a meth bust in Clark County.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Jared Malone of Kahoka, Mo., on Thursday. Malone is facing seven drug-related charges:

Possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine
Possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less marijuana (darvocet schedule four)
Possession of anhydrous ammonia in non-approved container.
Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine/methamphetamine
Attempt to manufacture a controlled substance – methamphetamine
Possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine 
Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia – methamphetamine

He's being held in the Clark County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Authorities arrested 24-year-old Summer Dean of Kahoka, Mo., Friday. She’s charged with possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  Her bond is set at $50,000.
