KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Heartland university president took a dip in a dunk tank Tuesday afternoon!

Truman State University President Troy Paino volunteered to help with the Inter-Fraternity Council or IFC field day.  IFC members hosted the event as a kick off to recruitment for the university fraternities.

After a little taunting from the president, one student successfully dunked Paino.

“This is just an effort to support our students and particularly our Greek fraternities, our sororities and just do what I can to be supportive and help them raise some money today,” said Truman State University President Dr. Troy Paino.

Paino enjoyed the dunk tank so much he took a seat above the water a second time.

Other IFC members and their advisor took turns getting dunked.

There was also food, drink, and other lawn games for students to enjoy as they passed through the quad.
