JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (AP) -- Missouri is one of five states chosen to participate in an information-sharing project involving police, prosecutors and courts.
Missouri has been awarded $25,000 by the National Governors Association for a project focused on enforcing drunken driving laws.
Missouri's effort will concentrate on improving the exchange of criminal and civil DWI information.
Other states selected to participate in the effort to bridge gaps in information transfers are Alabama, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia.
