KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A Kirksville teen is headed to prison following his guilty plea in Adair County Circuit Court.

Adair County Prosecutor Matt Wilson says Anthony Clark, 18, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree assault.

Clark was sentenced to five years in prison, with probation denied.

Previously Mark Clark, 32, also of Kirksville, pleaded guilty to the same charge and was sentenced to five years in prison with 120 days shock incarceration.

The other person charged in the case, Carl Von Galvin, 18, of Kirksville is charged with first-degree assault in the case. He's scheduled to get a trial date on August 2.

The three are all charged in connection with an assault on an 18-year-old Baring, Missouri man that happened in May of this year.
