KIRKSVILLE, MO --
Kirksville police are investigating a sexual assault and they're asking you to be on the lookout for the suspects.
On Friday night between 11 and 11:30, a woman was approached in an alley on 216 South Mulanix across from the police department.
“She saw three men behind the apartment building. At that point they confronted her and tried to take her clothes off and she resisted, and for one reason or another they left her alone, and walked off,” said Detective Sgt. Ron Celian.
The woman described her attackers as three white men, 6 feet or taller between the ages of 35 and 40.
One suspect was described as heavy-set about 260 pounds wearing a dark blue t-shirt and jeans.
Another is described as a brunette with a goatee and small metal earring in his right ear. He was wearing a gray t-shirt and jeans.
The woman said the men were either going or coming from Geno's 70's club.
