MACON, MO. -- A rollover crash in Macon County claimed the life of a Heartland man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Highway 63, one mile south of Macon, Mo., around 3 p.m. Sunday.

Darrin Imbler, 31, of Kirksville, was northbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and went off the road. His car hit a ditch, a mailbox, a buried cable box and an embankment before flipping over.

Imbler was thrown from the vehicle and the car landed on top of him. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Macon County Coroner Brian Hayes.
