KIRKSVILLE, MO -- A new business opened its doors in Kirksville on Thursday. CARS, which stands for Complete Automotive Repair Service, is located at 712 North Marion in downtown Kirksville. Owner Brian Miller has been renovating the building for over a year.
“It’s a complete automotive care service that’s basically going to be from the front to the rear” said Miller. “If we can’t fix it, there’s no charge here, it’s just not right. We’re going to be a very fair shop to the public. We’re for you.”
Owning a business is nothing new to Miller. For seven years, he owned “Show-Me Automotive” in Moberly. For nearly four years, Miller and his wife have lived in Kirksville. Miller decided to open-up shop because he knows how to run a successful business and enjoys everything about the Kirksville community.
"Well one thing about here, at our rates, we’re able to slow down and we’re able to make sure things are done right” said Miller. “So what if it takes an extra hour or two, check out our labor rates, and you’ll see it’s all about the quality. I want my men to slow down and make sure it’s done right. I don’t want them rushed and you’ll be surprised."
Miller said he plans to hire three employees to start, and may hire an additional three to four employees once the shop is up and running.
