If you've been wondering about the big construction project on South Baltimore Street in Kirksville, we have your answer.
    
Work is underway to build a new Dollar General store. The new store will replace the Dollar General in the Lincoln Square Shopping Center, and will be about 3,000 square feet bigger than the old store.

The current employees will transfer to the new location. Dollar General's Media Relations Manager did not have an anticipated opening date.
