KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Tuesday morning storms moving through the Heartland left many areas flooded. Folks trying to travel south on Bradford St. in Kirksville were blocked as water flowed over the road.  Standing water on Baltimore St. slowed the morning commute.  A mini-van stalled as it was trying to enter Lincoln Square in front of the Dollar General.

Rotary Park looked more like a lake.  Water rose to the seats of the picnic tables.  The water was so high in places; it almost covered the Frisbee-golf baskets.
