Two men are facing murder charges with a death from 2009.
MACON COUNTY, MISSOURI -- Two Macon County men are now facing murder charges in connection with a death that happened in March of 2009.
Authorities have been continuing to investigate an assault. According to court documents, four men assaulted Jerome Herrin and Drew Bartels at a Monroe County, Missouri residence.
Herrin died of those injuries a short time later.
Of the four men implicated in the attacks, Lucas Summers of Macon was convicted of "Involuntary Manslaughter, "Burglary," and "Assault" and is serving seven years in prison.
Monroe County officials have now charged 20-year-old Donald Fuller III of Clarence with "Second-Degree Murder" two counts of "First-Degree Assault" and "Burglary." He's being held in the Monroe County Jail on $25,000 bond.
Also charged is 24-year-old Michael Flowers of Macon.
There is no longer a warrant for Flower's arrest, but he still facing the same charges as Fuller.
