BLOOMFIELD, IOWA -- With the Iowa primary right around the corner, this is the final weekend for candidates to campaign.
Republican District 2 candidate Marionette Miller-Meeks is doing just that. She held another meet and greet in Bloomfield Saturday morning, and things won’t slow down for her in the next two days.
“The last two days we're continuing to meet with people as we have done all along, we're continuing to get our message out, sometimes you have do de-funk some myths and distortions about your candidacy or positions, we're continuing to raise money”, Meeks said.
Miller-Meeks said she doesn’t believe the recent crash involving her opponent Steve Rathje will affect the race.
