Cause of death released in March case

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- Nearly two months after a southeast Iowa man's body was found under a railroad bridge in Ottumwa, the Ottumwa Police Department released the cause of death on Tuesday.

The body of Joseph Storto, 45, of Ottumwa was found March 13 near the intersection of Paris and West Main Streets.

An autopsy was performed at that time.

Based on information obtained by police and the medical examiner, Storto's death has been ruled a suicide.
