KIRKSVILLE, MO --

Truman State University bid farewell to another president.

A goodbye reception was held in honor of Dr. Darrell Krueger who served as president for the last two years. Old friends and alum gathered with faculty and students to thank Krueger for his work at Truman.

Krueger feels good about the school's current condition.

“Fabulous shape, I'm not doing this, this has been done by people throughout the years. This is a great student body, a great faculty and Troy Paino is going to be a wonderful president,” Krueger said.

The Kruegers will be returning to their home in Utah. Dr. Krueger plans to garden, spend time with family, and volunteer at Southern Utah University.
