KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Fire officials were called to a small fire just before 4 a.m.

The incident happened at 717 East Cottonwood Street, at the corner of Mohawk.

Officials on the scene told KTVO the fire burned a hole through the patio.

The fire was quickly contained.

Family members were home at the time, but there were no injuries.

There's no cause of the fire at this time.
